What is The Velour Pour and how does it work?
The Velour Pour is a luxury mobile bartending service that brings the bar to YOU. We provide the bartenders, tools, bar setups, mixers, garnishes, custom menus, and vibes while you (the client) provide the alcohol. That means you get a fully tailored bar experience with less cost and liability on your end.

Do you provide the alcohol, or do clients bring their own?
You provide all alcohol. We provide everything else that makes your drinks shine - mixers, syrups, garnishes, décor, and the bartenders to bring it to life.

 What makes The Velour Pour different from other bartending services?
We’re not just pouring drinks, we’re curating an experience. From signature menus to themed bar setups to customizable energy levels (Butler Style, Family Friendly, or Wild for the Night), The Velour Pour is designed to match your exact vibe.

What vibes or service styles can I choose from for my bartenders?

How far in advance should I book my event?
We recommend booking 2–3 months out, especially for peak season. But if your event is sooner, reach out & if we’re available, we’ll make it happen.

What packages do you offer and what’s included in each one?
We offer tiered packages like Sip Happens, Pour Decisions, and The Grand Pour - plus specialty setups like Margarita Bars, Mimosa Bars, Martini Bars, and Boozy & Cozy (seasonal hot toddies + hot cocoa). Each comes with custom menus, mixers, garnishes, themed drink ware, and décor.

Do you offer weekday or off-peak discounts?
Yes! Our “Whine Down” weekday pricing is perfect for corporate mixers, happy hours, or smaller gatherings during the week.

Can I customize a package to fit my event?
Absolutely. Packages are a starting point, not a box. You can swap, add, or upgrade features to fit your exact needs.

How is bartender staffing decided—does it depend on my guest count?
Yes, staffing is based on guest count and package type. We’ll recommend the right number of bartenders during your consultation.

Mocktails & Specialty Bars:

Do you offer mocktail or non-alcoholic packages?
Yes! We have a full Mocktail Bar package that’s as fun and Instagram-worthy as our cocktail options - perfect for dry events, kids’ parties, and wellness-centered gatherings.

What’s included in a margarita/mimosa/martini/hot chocolate bar package?
Each specialty bar includes custom mixers, garnishes, themed drink ware, and bartender service. You bring the alcohol (champagne, tequila, vodka, etc.), and we handle the rest.

Can I request signature drinks or themed cocktails for my event?
Of course. We specialize in creating signature menus that reflect your theme, vibe, or brand.

Do you provide garnishes, mixers, and glassware?
Yes. Garnishes and mixers are always included. Glassware options depend on the package tier - we offer plastic, acrylic, or luxury glassware upgrades.

Logistics & Booking:

How do I book The Velour Pour for my event?
Just fill out our inquiry form or email us at TheVelourPour@gmail.com. From there, we’ll schedule a consultation to customize your package.

Is a deposit required to secure my date?
Yes, a deposit is required to lock in your event. The remaining balance is due before service begins.

​

How does your cancellation or reschedule policy work?
Deposits are non-refundable, but we do allow reschedules (based on availability).

​

Do you travel outside of Colorado Springs? If so, how does mileage pricing work?
Yes! We serve all of Colorado and beyond. Travel outside Colorado Springs is subject to mileage fees ( $1.75/ mile after 25 mile radius).

How much space do you need to set up the bar?
Most of our bars need about 6–8 feet of space. We’ll confirm setup requirements during booking.

Policies & Legal:

​

Do I need insurance or permits to hire The Velour Pour?
We carry our own liability insurance, but depending on your venue, you may need a banquet permit. We’ll help walk you through requirements.

​

What happens if my event goes over the contracted time?
We’re happy to keep the party going! Overtime is billed at $200 per hour.

​

Are tips included in the pricing or handled separately?
Tips are not included. Clients can provide a guaranteed gratuity upfront or allow guests to tip bartenders directly.

​

Can you handle events at venues with strict alcohol policies?
Yes. Since we don’t provide alcohol, we often fit into venues with strict policies better than traditional bar caterers.

​

What’s your liability waiver for?
It protects both of us by making clear that alcohol is client-provided and that guests must be 21+ to consume it.

Can I choose the look of the bar setup (Big Bertha, Little Lou, etc.)?
Yes! We name and theme our bar setups, so you can choose which one fits your event.

Do you provide themed decor or custom signage?
Yes. Decor is included in most packages, and we offer custom signage upgrades for that luxe touch.

​

What type of glassware options do you offer (plastic vs. real glass)?
All packages include disposables, but luxury packages can include real glassware depending on availability. You can always upgrade.

How do you make the bar experience interactive and memorable for guests?
From personalized menus to fun rims, cocktail glitter, and photo-worthy setups - we make your bar a whole vibe.

Do you help create a custom cocktail/mocktail menu that matches my theme?
Yes, that’s our specialty. We’ll collaborate to design a menu that fits your theme, colors, or brand perfectly.

​

How many hours of service are included in a standard booking?
Most packages include 2–4 hours of service. Additional hours can be added.

​

Do you provide servers or just bartenders?
Currently, we focus on bartenders, but servers may be available upon request.

​

Can you accommodate special requests like gluten-free or vegan mixers?
Yes! We’re happy to accommodate dietary restrictions, just let us know in advance.

​

Do you only work private events, or do you also do festivals/corporate gigs?
Both. We serve weddings, birthdays, corporate events, festivals, and everything in between.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Venmo (@thevelourpour), check, or cash. 

​

How far in advance do you send the shopping/quantity list for alcohol?
We’ll send you a finalized shopping list about 2–3 weeks before your event so you have plenty of time to stock up.
